Returns the largest element of a list, preserving the element’s original type.

Comparison

Lists of Date, DateTime, and NaiveDateTime values are compared with a date-aware comparator. All other element types fall back to Elixir’s structural comparison.

Validation

The input value must be a list. Non-list inputs raise an error. An empty list yields nil.
