Breaks a date or datetime apart into its calendar components and emits one port per component. Inverse of Date Set.

Inputs

  • Date — the date or datetime to decompose.

Outputs

  • Year, Month, Day — calendar components, always emitted.
  • Hour, Minute, Second — time-of-day components. For Date inputs these emit 0 since a date has no time.

Timezone

Optional IANA zone name (e.g. Europe/Stockholm). When set, DateTime inputs are converted to that zone before being decomposed — handy for reading off “the local hour” of a UTC timestamp. Date and NaiveDateTime inputs ignore the field.
