Authentication

Twine connects with a username and either a password or an SSH key. Pick the method on the integration’s Authentication tab.
  • Password: the account’s username and password.
  • SSH key: paste the private key (OpenSSH or PEM format, without a passphrase). Generate one with ssh-keygen -t ed25519 -N "" -C twine. After saving, the page shows the matching public key and its fingerprint; add that line to the SFTP account’s authorized keys.
Use Test connection on the same tab to check the details before saving. Switching between the two methods clears the credential of the method you leave. Passphrase-protected keys and OpenSSH certificates are not supported.
